How sad that we focus on the death of a man who had all the possibilities in the world and yet chose to be self-destructive instead.  Michael Jackson is a sad figure.  What is even more sad to me is that there are so many people who do twice as much good with half of what he had but - because they are just normal people - you will never hear about them.  The eyes of our society are certainly focused on all the wrong things.

Financial pressures can lead to problems families may not have experienced before. Alcohol or drugs seem like a way to cope but they don't get rid of the pressure. What they may do is open the door to violence. Families need to find people they can talk to in order to avoid the lifetime of problems that a conviction of domestic violence can create.
